Scary that something that might be used for so much good could be used for so much bad

It even knew to make a red sloped-roof restaurant.

I don't think I've seen the term "amoral turpitude" before. I like it. Your invention?

This brought to mind a movie or television program that I saw on television many years ago, perhaps 40 or 50 years. The plot involved the two major powers in the world (probably the US and the USSR at the time), who had each developed a very powerful computer as a defensive measure. However, the two computers started communicating with each other. Eventually, they began collaborating and announced to the world that they were now in charge, and that humans would do as they were told, or the computers would blow up the world. That was the end of the movie. It was very scary! I have no idea what the movie was called or who produced it. But I still remember it to this day. And I still think it’s scary! My husband, who is a great science-fiction reader, told me about Isaac Asimov’s rules for robots. I think the first rule says something like robots shall do nothing that will harm a human. We have not figured out how to implement that rule.

It's not enough that teens can be harassed by their real peers on social media. NOW...AI can invent fake stories to further amp up their anxiety. If it sounds like I'm taking it personally, that's accurate. When a loved one of mine has received "why don't you go kill yourself" posts on Snap Chat, it gets too REAL! I love the things AI can do that are positive I don't trust humans to "do the right thing"...and I'm not sure how to restore that trust.
