> [42] BILL CLINTON/Roy Liechtenstein (1891-1942). Like TR and JFK, BC had an outsized pop-icon personality, so I asked for a Liechtenstein. Coincidentally, the real Liechtenstein created a campaign button for BC.
There might be a typo in the dates here. Kind of hard for someone who died in 1942 to have created campaign art for someone who campaigned half a century later.
Washington and Garfield share the distinction of probably being killed by their surgeons. Garfield had a likely survivable wound from his assassination attempt, but his surgeons carried on a weeks-long campaign to extract the bullet and in the process gave him a massive infection.
A pleasant potted history of the presidency to accompany the portraits. The hair on the Zachary Taylor figure is odd, like he is wearing a whig. There are some good artists to explore further. Are there plans for this to be a poster one could purchase? (captions included, of course). Thanks!
As I said above, no immediate plans to, though we're flattered that you ask. You can download it and have it printed yourself. If you do, it's a bit LOWER resolution than my original file. Let me give it some thought. -- Bob

I did wonder at the “yours would be higher” pre-edit original, but figured that it was one of those things where I didn’t know how much I didn’t know; and since I wasn’t going to try to download it anyway, I took refuge in your remark that you would give it some thought. Thanks.
I loved your creative musings on each President. Someday I hope to have grandchildren and I will happily share this with them as they study American history.
I really enjoyed these. And I wasn't immediately familiar with what all of them looked like, so it was interestiing to see how Polk, for instance, was done. But I immediately spotted something "off" in the Esienhower pic. Then I read about it and I think your wife described it perfectly.
Bravo, Bob & Alanna! Fantastic article. Exhibit 1 on great creative use of AI. The Buchanan/Phil Connors is one of several laugh-out-loud touches. This is a keeper!
Gotta admit … I loved the Phil Connors bit, too. I started to make the reference to the ice sculptures in Citizen Kane. Then my search tossed up Phil Connors and there was no choice. On Sunday, I’ll redo this one + two more.
Very interesting and creative article.

Well, this is a world of seances! But thanks, I'll fix that.
There's also this one:
"WILLIAM HOWARD TAFT/Fernando Botero (1932-1923)"
Thanks! Fixed!

Again, a delightful collection. Thank you!
Genius! Best thing I've seen today.
Loved this! So creative! As the Brits would say, “Brilliant!”

I, too, would be interested in a poster.

Notice that I edited my reply. Yours would be LOWER resolution.

Captivating, educational and delightful!

Great fun - some inspired!!

A very fun use of Grok.
Hey Robert, I’ve sent you a DM with a great proposal for your newsletter. Would love for you to take a look when you get a chance!
