A life well lived. Together you shared what most will never know. May the sun shine on your face and the wind be at your back as you complete your journey, Robert.
My condolences and such an inspiring post. . . . I can't remember how I found Bastiat's Window, but I am so happy I did. There are so many people that you impact, without even knowing it.
Thank you, Robert, for sharing your story of life with Allana. You know what came to mind as I read your words? Moses, when he set before the people life and death, and implored them to "choose life." Allana certainly did. Your eulogy powerfully testifies to her choice, and proves once again just what Moses promised: that it was "not too difficult for you or beyond your reach ... no, the word is in your mouth and in your heart so you can obey it." God bless her. God bless you.
Thank you for sharing not an instruction manual but a moving picture--art telling what only art can say--of a life well-lived with someone who inhabited your heart.
Of course it was laugh-worthy to consider assholes in paradise.
I’m better for the glimpses you’ve shared through the window❤️🙏
🙏⚓💔
This is both sad and inspiring. And brought tears to a strangers eyes.
Mission accomplished :)

May Alanna’s memory be for a blessing.

She left me with a lot to live for.
So sorry for your loss.
That you are able to write the above is a wonderful honor to her life and your relationship.
A beautiful eulogy for a remarkable woman. Condolences to you and your son, and to everyone in her orbit.
Thanks, Mark.
Robert,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. May the memories you built together sustain you through your grief.
Bob,
My thoughts and prayers, and yes, my tears, are with you.

Lovely. And I had just as much time married to her as the duration of the exodus.

No doubt, she’s tallying up the assholes as we speak. :)
