Brilliant, just brilliant. Or as our British cousins would say, “Extraordinary!”

Yep, that about sums it up. Despite his appalling awful debate performance, I'm still voting Trump (really I'm voting anti-Dems). It is desperately sad that these are our choices.

Seventeen elections in my lifetime that I'm aware of. Blissfully ignorant of 1952 and 1956. It really doesn't make much difference which party is in charge. Really holding my nose for this election. Your essay sums it up perfectly.

That was very clever. All of this is 20 -20 hindsight. I have no idea how things will turn out but then neither do the experts. I always wanted to have a job as an expert. They were never wrong.

Hahaha! An instant classic!

I too have abandoned following the idiocy of the elections, focusing instead on rewatching the entire Green Acres saga. (Mrs. Douglas is way hotter now that I’m older than she was when I was a kid.)

One of the greatest TV series in history. The surrealism and endless, endless Easter eggs seemed so effortless. e.g., https://fb.watch/uA9GzkjviN/

That’s a great clip. The show had so much to appreciate that much of it is easily missed on the first (or second or third) viewing, like Newhart, Get A Life and Arrested Development.

Off topic, but another (limited run) TV show I recently discovered and was blown away by is “Mrs. Davis” on Peacock.

I’m in. Whoever loses this election richly deserves to.

Loved this post. Very clever and different. Can't wait to fill it out after the election. Depending on the outcome, I will be on may knees (thanking God for the outcome/wailing and gnashing my teeth), Rick
